Register your child for Kindergarten or TK for the 2017-2018 school year on-line now! It's easier than ever. Just click on the website below.
Print the Air registration and bring it to the office along with your child's birth certificate, immunization records, parent's picture ID and proof of address (car registration, property taxes, payroll stub, federal/state taxes-no bills please)
Remember your child must be 5 years of age by September 1, 2017. If your child was born between September 2, 2012 and December 2, 2012, he/she can be registered for Transitional Kindergarten.
Registration is not complete until you physically come to the office with a copy of the Air registration and all the documentation listed above.
If you are interested in an Intra-District Transfer to another school for your Kinder or TK student, the Intra District Transfer form must be turned in to the District Office by Feb. 28, 2017.
2016-17 School Climate Survey Information
Valhallla Elementary is looking for parents and community members to share their perceptions about the school. Your participation is voluntary but very important. The information will help guide district and school efforts to promote safety, enhance learning, and improve student achievement. Results will also help inform Mt. Diablo Unified’s Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP.) This is an anonymous survey designed so that no one can be identified from the data. The questions apply to this school only. The results will be used for school site and Mt. Diablo Unified program planning. The window will be open from February 6, 2017- March 30, 2017.
If you have more than one child at this school, you will only need to complete one survey for this school. Please fill out just one survey about the school using your oldest child as a reference.

The Fire & Ice Gala will be held on April 22, 2017 from 6:00 - 11:30 PM at the Contra Costa Country Club. Enjoy a great evening together all in the name of supporting the students. You may report your child's absences as follows:
*By calling 687-1700, between 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
*By writing a note
Please report your child's name, grade and teacher, date of absence, the reason for the absence and your name and relationship to the child.
District policy states that absences must be cleared within 72 hours after student returns to school. If no notification is received, the absence will be considered a truancy.
Please remember that all visitors must check in at the school office between the hours of 8:20 a.m.-2:35 p.m. A "visitor" badge must be worn at all times.
